The Ursa Makor is available with Nitro-V blade steel as well as AEB-L blade steel. Nitro-V will have slightly better hardness / edge retention at the cost of toughness, so Nitro-V would be the choice for slicing based tasks, and AEB-L would be the choice for chopping harder materials, batoning wood for example, because of its greater toughness.
