Description

One of Civivi's leading designs - the Elementum, now available with a Nitro-V wharncliffe blade.

Simple but beautiful, the Elementum is a crowd favourite for good reason. It's elegant design is functional and practicle, soft handle lines make for a comfortable purchase while performing EDC tasks, and the addition of a whatcliffe blade gives increased cutting power all the way along the edge to its precision tip.

The Elementums Hollow grind makes this blade thin and slicey behind the edge, and the tip is perfect for precision cutting. The addition of thumb studs to this model also allows multiple blade deployment options.

  • Wharcliffe blade
  • Hollow grind
  • Nitro-V blade steel
  • Ceramic ball bearing pivot
  • Flipper tab and thumb stud deployment
  • Deep carry tip up pocket clip
  • G10 or micarta handle options

Nice medium sized edc. Cuts very well. The only downside is the linner lock is a bit hard to access and flipper tab gets in the way when using thumb stud. Reverse flick is fine. Would still recommend as work knife for cutting plastic and cardboard etc.

What a pair!

The Civivi Elementum is just such a practical sized EDC knife. I've got several already but wanted the new Wharncliffe blade. I love the Wharnie blade shape for EDC for its piercing and slashing capabilities. I use my knife for stabbing and opening packets and boxes, as well as chook feed sacks, straw bales and more.
The black micarta handle has a good amount of texture. It's quite cool and dry (as is typical of micrarta); with enough grip for what you need practically.
I'm ambivalent about the thumb stud; I always use the flipper tab. As typical of a fantastic knife company like Civivi-We, they are always developing and incorporating new technology or features. I notice that this newer version of the Elementum has an extra grip groove on the flipper tab (further around the tab) for extra grip. As too the updated Nitro-V blade material will be useful for an EDC blade.
All up, I wholeheartedly recommend this knife. As too Mitch & Adventure Carry who provide these knives* in a timely manner.
